Conceal Carry / Intro To Handguns

Join us for the Oregon Concealed Carry / Intro to Handguns Combo event, where you will have the opportunity to learn about both obtaining your concealed carry permit and gaining valuable knowledge and experience with handguns. During this event, our experienced instructors will guide you through the process of applying for your concealed carry permit in the state of Oregon. You will learn about the laws and regulations surrounding concealed carry, as well as best practices for safely and responsibly carrying a firearm. In addition to the concealed carry portion of the event, you will also receive hands-on training with handguns. Our instructors will teach you how to properly handle, load, and shoot a handgun, as well as important safety tips to keep in mind while using a firearm. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience with handguns, this event is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in the world of concealed carry and handguns. What is covered in this exciting class;

- Developing a Personal and Home Protection Plan

- Self-Defense Firearms Basics

- Shooting Fundamentals

- Gear and Gadgets

- The Legal Use of Force

- Violent Encounters and the Aftermath

- Basic and Advanced Skills

- 4 Universal firearm rules.

- Importance of eye and ear protection on the range

- Range safety

- How to properly load and unload various handguns

- Proper grip and stance

- Proper sight picture and trigger control

- Marksmanship

- Clearing malfunctions

- Experience shooting revolvers and semi auto handguns

- Student will shoot 3 different handgun calibers (22 cal, 38 special and 9mm)

All handguns that will be used, targets, eye and ear protection and ammo are included in the cost of the class. Class size is limited to 10 students per class.
